Nada Fabiola is a cello artist and creative collaborator in Gendhing’s Danuwuh Ricefield Concert. Her role in the project is to bring the expressive, lyrical character of cello into a contemporary open-air world-music setting.
In the Danuwuh concept, cello adds a contrasting voice to multi instrumental ethnic music: sustained tones, lyrical phrasing and cinematic warmth. Together, the two instruments create space for an intimate performance shaped by the rhythm of the landscape.

Nada’s role is centered on musical dialogue, allowing cello and multi instrumental ethnic music to respond to each other rather than operate as separate performances.
The rice-field venue becomes part of the listening experience, with the performance unfolding around sunset and rural ambience.
Together with Jaeko Siena, Nada forms the core multi instrumental ethnic music × cello collaboration at the Danuwuh Ricefield Concert.
